I’ve worked at the Dallas Medieval Times for 15 years and nearly every one of them I’ve worked alongside my friend Katie. I’ve seen her begin as a serving wench and slowly move up to become the Dallas castle’s best operations manager before seen, but now she’s moving on and being promoted to become the general manager of the Myrtle Beach castle.
Anytime a beloved manager is moving on to bigger and better things, either within the company or in the wild, our Dallas general manager will call on me to produce a print of a beautiful architectural shot of the Medieval Times castle that I captured a little over a decade ago. I’m always very proud to have this print gifted, signed by the Dallas castlefolk, and hanging in the office of each recipient and I could not be more proud that my friend Katie now has the latest, and largest, of these prints! I wish her all the luck in her new endeavor and know she’ll continue to grow and flourish wherever she lands.

Eagle eyed readers might notice that everyone in these shots are wearing costumes and that’s because Katie was gifted this print at the company Halloween party! As you can expect, most of the Medieval Times castlefolk tend to go all out for Halloween and can really get into their costumes seeing as how many of them are theater kids or have backgrounds in cosplay. I ran around snapping lo-fi selfies and other shots with my Camp Snap toy camera meant to emulate the feel of an old disposable camera and if you’d like to see the fun, you can visit the Medieval Times Dallas Halloween Party 2026 album at my Jet Yonkin Photography page on Facebook.
