Tech N9ne's Anghellic Album Re-Releases Today!

I remember the first time I bought a Tech N9ne album. I was a young Juggalo in my first year of college and had begun branching out from Psychopathic Records to other related artists and had heard Tech N9ne on Twiztid’s album The Green Book. My brother visited me in college and drove me into town to the nearby mall and I bought a copy of Anghellic: Reparation, the first re-release of this classic JCOR album on Tech’s newly created Strange Music. Even though this version began with the song ‘Devil Boy’ in which Tech N9ne laments that everyone sees his imagery and falsely assumes he is Satanic, my brother took a look at the album artwork, listened to the music, and told me I needed to cut this Satanic music out of my life and find Jesus.

Today, Tech N9ne is releasing Anghellic again in celebration of the original release’s 25th anniversary and so we receive Anghellic: Resurrection. Since I first listened to Anghellic, I’ve seen Tech N9ne live countless times over the years, but after I began photographing shows professionally for FaygoLuvers, I’ve only captured the energy and vibrant color of his stage show a few times. In honor of the re-release of Anghellic, please enjoy a few select shots I’ve taken of Tech N9ne live!
